Good Morning!
You still have time to Enter the Attune Foods Giveaway! Head over and enter if you want! I will pick a winner tomorrow!
Sunday was a baking day like usual…If you missed it I made blueberry muffin bake (Again? you ask, but it’s so good- my new favorite!) in the morning, paleo pumpkin walnut muffins, quinoa granola bars, and I cooked some chicken and bacon for chicken Cobb salads for dinner, whoo!
So for breakfast I knew I wanted some kind of baked good. I chose the Paleo pumpkin walnut muffin warmed in the microwave with a banana and melty almond butter! Yum. Quick and easy for a nurse on the go!
LUNCH
I had a bunch of leftovers: turkey meatloaf muffins, moroccan inspired quinoa salad, and some chopped veggies. There was also a bag of pita chips lying around at work so I grabbed a few handfuls 🙂 I love pita chips!
Quest Bar for another snack.
This week is the last full week of the push up challenge if you are following along… Since I have started crossfit I havent been doing as many push up workouts, but still trying to get them in when I can.
Thank you Becky for hosting 🙂
We did push ups at Crossfit on Monday so it worked out well.. I am up to 16 and my goal is 20! I hope I can do it.
CROSSFIT
(Did you see the new crossfit badge I made?- Here it is again! I love it.)
Warm Up: Coach led
Mobility: Hips and Shoulders
Strength: Intro and then work to a heavy 2 hand anyhow
WOD:
EMOM for 13 min complete:
5 clapping push ups
5 hang snatch 45# bar
**I didn’t do clapping push ups but I did do hand release!
After dinner last night I had about 85 Girl Scoot Shortbread Cookies while I watched the bachelor! Thanks mom for bringing them over (sarcastic). I purposely didn’t buy any this year because I knew some would wind up at my house one way or another!
This is how I felt after! This is one HUGE cookie.
For some reason I love these the best!
Have a wonderful day!

Clapping push-ups!! That’s hard core. What does it mean to do a hand release to modify that? I’m guessing that might still be too much for me (I’m a wimp when it comes to push-ups), but I’m curious. 🙂

Hand release is just when you lay on the floor release your hands then push your body back up into a push up, and repeat.

Mmm, you can’t beat the banana/AB combo or with PB. I am really curious to try crossfit. I love short intense workouts, so I feel like it would be right up my alley.

Girl Scout Cookies are SO good! I swear, I could eat a whole box. Pairing them with ‘The Bachelor’ is even better. Two of my favorite things for sure!! 🙂

I’ve heard about the dangers of Girl Scout cookies, so I guess I’m lucky that my allergies keep me from enjoying them. Unfortunately, I make up for the lack of those with other things… Cinnamon buns, I’m looking at you…

Love the big Girl Scout cookie! I keep mine in the freezer so I can’t eat them without breaking my teeth – haha! I’ve also been doing TONS of push-ups in both CrossFit and yoga so hopefully I’ll be getting close to my goal too 🙂

I’m going to buy the mint cookies this year to have after my figure competition. They are so addictive!

That’s funny. I used to work at a Tim Horton’s (canada) and I ate SO many cookies and muffins and donuts and the bread (the bread was so yummy toasted with PB and J) and chocolate milk…I always went home feeling like one huge muffin.. 🙂
smelled like it and felt like it…I’d walk home feeling like a muffin slowly rolling down the road, ha…I was totally “into ” carbs …the chocolate chip muffins were my weakness 🙂
Especially if I did the very opening shift so I’d have to put out all the display and then stop and have an early morning “snack” of course 🙂
jeepers…whatever, that’s life.

The Shortbread Girl Scout cookies are one of my favs, too! Those and the Do-Si-Dos :).
