Good Morning!
I started my day off yesterday with a TRUE BLUE Breakfast.
True Blue #1
Blueberry Oats with Walnuts
Ingredients:
2 tbsp Almond flour
2 tbsp oats
2 tbsp Flaxseed Meal
1 tbsp Chia seeds
1 Stevia packet
1 tsp baking powder (could prob leave out next time)
Pinch Salt
Almond Milk (1/4 cup or more approx)
Blueberries
Directions: Mix and Microwave for about 3 minutes
Top with Walnuts! Enjoy!
FITNESS:
After Breakfast I went to Crossfit. I am really loving crossfit so much! It challenges me to do things I wouldn’t try on my own. I will try to break down the lingo as much as I can for those of you who do not follow crossfit.
Before I started I had no idea what AMRAP meant!
Strength:
We worked on finding our 3 Rep Max Strict Press
Shoulder are my weakest body part and the coach always tells me to “Get out of your head!” But it is true.
WOD:
AMRAP (As many rounds as possible) in 9 Minutes:
9 Shoulder to Overhead (OH) or Push Press (PP) – (115 for guys/75 for girls) I started with 75lbs and went down to 65lbs on the second round!
Me in the middle of doing my push press
15 KTE (knees to Elbows) or HKR (hanging knee raises) – I did hanging knee raises
21 Double Unders (Jump rope)
Me: Mid Jump 🙂
Followed by 1 minute Max Rep Burpees! (AH!)
I did 3 rounds + 2 PP and 13 Burpees at the end.
After crossfit I drank my protein shake and then while I was waiting patiently to get my oil changed I snacked on:
True Blue #2
Kind Bar (Blueberry Vanilla + Cashew)
Being a blueberry lover so much I was surprised that this was not my favorite KIND bar. I think my favorite is still the Dark Chocolate + Sea salt!
TRUE BLUE #3
Tasty gum!
I got to spend the rest of my afternoon with some awesome friends for lunch. We went to one of our favorite places, Bellevue Bistro!
It’s such a cute little place that has awesome breakfast and lunch!
I got an iced tea- I love their ice!
Stephanie and I split two meals, we were starving!
CLEVELAND
grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella, golden raisins, sunflower seeds, apples,
and house vinaigrette
and the Tuscan Sandwich
TUSCAN*
turkey, swiss, avocado spread, tomatoes, onion, cucumbers, on
whole wheat
with a side of roasted sweet potatoes
I am obsessed with avocado right now!
After we ate at talked forever we went across the street to Avenue Brew. It was such a cute little coffee shop but you can also eat there and they have a beer garden type of thing outside during warmer weather! I cant wait to go back!
Stephanie and I also split a small coffee drink, some type of mocha flavor, I forgot the name of it though.
Splitting is the way to go!! That way you get to try more food too!
My husband never wants to split meals, that’s what girlfriends are for I guess 🙂
Have a good Friday!
What is your favorite coffee drink?
Anyone else obsessed with avocado?

You were all about the blue! I love the apricot mango kind bar, it’s like a mini tropical vacation break! My favorite coffee is most any of the flavors at Fresh Market, so good! I love splitting meals when out, Its fun to try other foods!

Sharing is SO much better. I love having tastes of all sorts of foods, instead of committing to just one dish. Luckily, my husband doesn’t usually mind, and we have a great time trying tapas restaurants (where that’s what it’s all about).

Yum those blueberry oats look good! I’ve not cooked with almond flour before, I’ve recently been experimenting with quinoa flour but will have to give this a go.
