I think that is the longest Title I’ve ever had!

I want to start out today by sharing that I am now a Chick’d Ambassador!  I am so excited to be part of this team!

Chick’d was founded by two Canadian Women with a  goal to meet the growing demands for QUALITY women’s apparel.  With manufacturing being done in Canada they can meet women’s needs by being socially and economically conscious  while still using sustainable fabrics that we all love.

The apparel is made from eucalyptus lyocell, organically grown cotton, recycled polyester,and Eco-charcoal (made from ground-up coconut shells and bamboo).

Chick’d – verb, [chik-t]

  • Anything that stands in the way of you achieving success gets chick’d as you leave it behind.
  • Although the action of chicking can happen for an individual female, it can become a formidable force when accomplished by a group.

Chick – noun

  • Any woman who loves herself and the environment around her.
  • Gives unconditional support to other chick’s in their pursuit of a healthy life.

Now on to the Sh** Storm that we did at Crossfit!  

I  could actually do this workout with my hurt/heeling foot But I couldn’t run a mile so I had to Row a mile, boo!

I finished in 30:09 and let me tell you that I HATE Toes To Bar.  I just cannot get a rhythm down.  I guess that means I need to do more practicing!

Then I went home to ice my foot 🙂 I’m telling you I cannot sit still!

For Dinner Last Night, the plan was to Make California Quesadillas….well I Made Quesadillas, but I didn’t really use the same ingredients as the recipe stated.

Instead I used chicken, bacon, cheese, tomato, avocado, and onion on Low Carb Tortillas.  YUM.  I think it was the best Quesadilla I’ve ever had to be honest.

I’ll Call it: Semi-California Quesadilla!  Dig in!


And the treat I promised you, finally!

For my Sunday Food Prep this past week I made lots of goodies.  Here is another “protein ball” recipe that I made that can be enjoyed for a snack, or possible dessert!  I added chocolate chips to these which I usually don’t do so I think I will treat them as “a treat.”

Cinnamon Raisin Protein Balls

I love adding protein into my snacks, which you all probably know by now!  I know this looks like a long list of ingredients but I just kept adding wet and dry to get the perfect consistency.  Feel free to add or subtract whatever you like Smile


  • 3/4 cup oats
  • 2 tbsp PB2
  • 2 tbsp flaxseed meal
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup chopped cinnamon almonds
  • 2 tbsp Enjoy Life Mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 4 liquid stevia drops

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.  Spray hands with non stick cooking spray and roll into balls.  Refrigerate for a few hours and enjoy!

Just FYI- I just bought the stevia drops so I wasn’t sure how sweet they were.  I tried one drop on my tongue after making these balls and boy was it SWEET!    PS. Don’t try them on your tongue!

I could have probably used 1-2 drops instead of 4, but do whatever fits your fancy!  They still tasted good.
