Also let me just say that it was 64 degrees out yesterday!!  64! Let me remind you it is January 11th.  I am not complaining though, I love it!

First: Breakfast

I had to make french toast again, since last time it was SOOO good.  I was just craving it and I only had 2 eggs left in the house, which means I needed to go on an emergency egg run!  I cannot live without eggs if you haven’t noticed.

I figured this would hold me over through crossfit, and it did just that.

I am a level 1 since I just started and I finished in 9:52.  I think that is perfectly fine. I would rather do the lifts correctly and not rush for time at this point. I was a chalky mess after!

So I can officially say that toes to bar is one of my least favorite exercises.  Especially after doing 63 of them!  Holy smokes.  Not to mention now my whole body is jello now, not just my legs.  (I am not complaining, I love this feeling!)

After my workout I had my protein:

I drank my Beverly International Protein shake (cookies n cream because it’s the!)

I love "Off" Days!

So like I said before I needed to go on an egg run…well that turned into a grocery run because I got, laughing cow cheese, milk, avocado, tomatoes and a few other things 🙂  I always do this at the grocery store.  I can never just go in and get what I need.  The avocados looked so fresh!

So I included the avocado in my lunch of course:

I also ate a few dark chocolate almonds before lunch too.. They are SO tasty and one serving only has 1 gram of sugar!  That fulfills my sweet tooth right there since I am doing a 30 day challenge of no sweets!  I broke into them in the car before I even got home!

Scrambled Egg Goodness:


1 chicken sausage
1 whole egg
2 egg whites
laughing cow garlic and herb cheese melted into the eggs- yum
salt and pepper

After lunch Jackson let me trim his nails…so that meant I only had to take Lily to the vet.  Did I mention Lily is on Xanax and there is no possibly way I can trim hers myself!

So Jackson got a treat (PEANUT BUTTER) since he did so good.

Tuesday I was off  and it was a beautiful day! I should have went on a run!

picked up some ranch dressing and clem’s at kroger
post office
played with the dogs

cleaned up alec’s nasty room (11 year old boys sheesh)
packed lunches

After my awesome breakfast of Fit French Toast I headed to the gym for a workout.

I was supposed to go to crossfit , but I already learned what they were going over in the beginner class so I went to the gym and did my own thing.  I feel like if I have to be in the “beginner” class, I want to learn something new, not just the same stuff over and over.   I think that is fair!  Hopefully I will be able to “test out” soon.

So I pumped up the Jam myself!

I only did 2 sets of 21’s because my arms were falling off 😉

After the gym I had my usual cookies n cream protein shake with ice and water, very cold and refreshing and it held me over until lunch.



For lunch I had a pita sandwich with veggies.  In the pita was shredded chicken that I made on the George Foreman  and seasoned 🙂 Also inside: spinach, avocado, provolone cheese, and cucumbers.

 I had some magazines ready for some good catch up.. Swimsuits already!?!  It’s only January!  Of course, I want to buy a new one already.

 And a French vanilla PB2 protein shake made with half water, half almond milk, and ice.

I also had about 4 Granola Energy Balls throughout the day at some point  🙂 They are so addicting.

Blueberries right after dinner just because they looked so good! And they were.

I also made some hard-boiled eggs, so I had one to see how it tasted.  Of course it was impossible to peel.  Why is that? Someone please tell me?!  I heard it was because they are either under or over cooked, but the yolk looked perfect!
